22 months

This girl is such a source of joy.
She is officially the age that Peter was when she was born, which my heart just doesn't know what to do with.
Her speech continues to explode...
She says her C's like T's, which I think is adorable... "I'm tumming", instead of "I'm coming".
My personal faves are "Hold Ju, Mommy" when she wants to be held & "I lub eww" for I love you.
Its the start of really figuring her out, learning her "bents", what works to discipline her and mold her young heart.
Her behavior is easier than Peter's was/is but she has a hard time saying "I'm sorry" when she has done something wrong.  (Peter is quick to say I'm sorry.)  So far, I've chalked it up to girls maybe more naturally finding their identity in "doing the right thing", so its harder for us to hear that we haven't, where boys could really care less, they're just more footloose and fancy-free in feeling the need to follow rules and find some worth in that... ???  So we are praying for her (and me! being a "girl" too) that we'd find our identity in Christ and know that ultimately we need to do that b/c we're NOT OK, we don't do things right, in our hearts and actions.  We need a Savior.
Thank you, Lord, for this child.
