From Psalm 37...
3 Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.
8 Refrain from anger and forsake wrath!; Fret not yourself—it tends only to evil.
9 For evildoers shall be cut off,
but those who wait for the LORD shall inherit the land.
11But the meek shall inherit the land and delight themselves in abundant peace.
I read these verses quickly this morning in the car b/c I need some perspective on how to think about life. I struggle with wanting to be angry. So they helped my perspective... I want to be meek but I'm just not naturally that way. God help me! Help me to let go and be more meek.
We are off to the river for the weekend with my parents to celebrate Daddy's Birthday! Its supposed to be sunny & 80's. Oh, I want to have real contentment b/c You make me content, not happiness just because the weather is nice. God help me.
