Four & Mono (again)

Lily had her 4 year well visit a week ago.... 

They deemed her "well", as we were already sure of!  :)

Her stats:

Wt:  34.5 lbs (50%)

Ht:  39.25 inches (50%)

(Here are Peter's stats at age 4.)

A week later, the Bug hasn't been as well.  I took her in this past week and it turns out she has mono, like her brother had this past winter. He had it for a while before we knew it was mono.  So we were glad to find out right away.  And happy that its summer this time around.  Goo has still permitted us at her house so that's kept us from feeling quarantined.

I've amused myself with comparing them.  Peter was tired.  Couldn't function tired.  Lily hasn't been as tired.  She's definitely taken 3-4 hour naps but that's not too far outside of normal.  She still plays mostly normal when she's awake.   

The big thing for her is that she was been swollen.  This was the first thing that tipped me off.  Her sweet little face is puffy and her neck is sooo tight and firm to the touch with swollen nodes.  Her tonsils are huge.  I'll leave the description at that.  ;)  Peter doesn't have tonsils (woohoo!) so I've gotta assume that decreased his swell factor.  

 Lily was worried and sad about having to go to the doctor on the morning I took her in.  I assured her that the doctor helps us and it wouldn't hurt.  So I felt pretty bad when they had to do labs.  Mike promised her Swedish fish from his work as her treat for going in.

 Her loot almost made it worth it!
